The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 was introduced last week at the Geneva Auto is already officially sold out.
The new 12-cylinder flagship model has 700 horsepower and is capable of going over 200 mph.
The United States is Lamborghini’s biggest market with 1,302 cars sold here last year. But that may change as China has also developed a taste for the exotic super car with 209 Lambos sold in China last year. That may not sound like a lot but it is a 150 percent increase form 2009.
“We confirmed our long-term strategy, which calls for stable and significant investments in new products even in difficult times. We see a slow and steady recovery of the market,” said Stephen Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini in Italy.
So nowt that the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is sold out that doesn’t mean that you can’t get up close and personal (inside and out) with the new Italian super car.
